Leathermen's Guild has, since its inception in 1975, used only the finest, time tested construction techniques. Beginning with kiln dried hardwood frames and double cone coil springs 8-way hand tied over interlaced webbing and steel straps, we move on to filling materials of the finest polyester fibers and support fabrics which are both strong and mold and mildew resistant. Polyfoams are of high density and, where possible, all seat cushions are of innerspring construction and completely encased in tightly woven muslin. This feature gives you true coil spring over coil spring construction. All items are hand cut and sewn using ultra strong bonded nylon threads. All areas of upholstery are double covered and all rails are well padded, even in areas that don't show. Brass nails, when used, are solid brass, never brass plated steel, which will rust. The leathers used, some 200 of them, are all full top grain and are selected for quality, not price. These leathers are hand graded and sorted to insure the best possible color match prior to being applied to the customers selection of style.
